COVID-19 is spread through droplets when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or talks.
It can spread from touching infected surfaces and enters your body when touching your face (eyes, nose, mouth). It can also spread through close contact, such as caring for an infected person.
The most common symptoms include fever, cough, and difficulty in breathing, but can also include chills, muscle aches or body pain, fatigue, headache, or new loss of taste or smell.
