Due to COVID-19, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) suspended all in-person services for the first three months of the pandemic. This has caused delays in the processing of visa applications, cancelled appointments, temporarily suspended oath taking ceremonies, and more.
Most field offices, including the Los Angeles County office, have been slowly opening since June. Due to increased safety measures at these offices, you may experience longer wait times and restrictions on biometric collection or appointments.
