With the holidays upon us, it’s natural to want to be with our tita and tito, our lola and lolo during these times. However, we are still in a pandemic that has disproportionately impacted our community with deadly consequences. 

One way to approach this is to acknowledge that while we can’t be together in the same way before the pandemic without putting someone else at risk, doesn’t mean our feelings and love for each other has changed. 

Social distancing by maintaining a distance of six feet between each person and wearing a mask helps to stop the spread of COVID19 according to CDC guidelines.
