Your doctor will be able to help you decide on next steps for your treatment -- this may include strategies to manage your symptoms at home, telehealth visits, or in-person appointments.

If you and your doctor decide that an in-person appointment is appropriate for your symptoms, there are some steps you can take to protect yourself from COVID-19. These include wearing a protective face covering approved by medical professionals, practicing regular hand washing, disinfecting high-touch objects such as car doors, doorknobs, or cellular phones, and keeping at least a six foot distance from those not in your immediate household.

If you are experiencing serious conditions like a heart attack, stroke, or life-threatening injury, you must immediately call 911 or visit the emergency department at your local hospital.
