According to the CDC, the vaccine purchased with U.S. taxpayer dollars will be given to the general public at no cost. However, vaccination providers will be able to charge an administration fee for giving the shot to someone. This cost can be covered using a patient’s private or public insurance company, or by the Health Resources and Services Administration’s Provider Relief Fund for those who were uninsured.
According to Government Health Officials, if you qualify for Medicare or Medicaid, the vaccine will be at no cost.
