Am I allowed to take an employee's temperature?

According to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), you are allowed to take the body temperature of an employee and ask whether they have experienced or are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. However, it is important for you to know that some people who have COVID-19 can be asymptomatic, which means that they can have COVID-19 but not have fever.
