What do I need to do before flying to the Philippines?

Per the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) of the Philippines:
The United States is among countries subject to Travel Restrictions and Information for Passengers Transiting Concerned Areas. This is based on the Malacañang Palace Memorandum issued on December 29, 2020 on the regulation of entry for travelers from or transiting through areas that have reported incidence of the new COVID-19 variant. Before you fly to the Philippines, you may need to secure the following additional documents in order to be granted entry:
- If you are not traveling with a valid Philippine passport, you may need to apply for a visa. Learn more about who can travel to the Philippines here.
- Once you have secured a visa to the Philippines, consider pre-booking a COVID-19 test with a COVID-19 Testing Provider here.
- All passengers arriving in the Philippines are required to quarantine at an accredited quarantine facility. Choose where you are most comfortable staying from the list of recommended facilities here.
